Job Title: Principal, Adams Middle School

Position Summary:

North Platte Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and student-focused instructional leader for the position of Principal at Adams Middle School. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing all activities of Adams Middle School, which serves approximately 600 students within a district of 3,500 students. The Principal will provide visionary leadership, foster a positive and safe learning environment, and ensure academic excellence across all grade levels.

The successful candidate will demonstrate educational leadership, interpersonal skills, management capacity, fiscal responsibility, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for working with staff, students, parents, and the broader community.

 

Qualifications:

• Education & Certification:
  Must qualify for or hold a valid Nebraska Administrative Certificate with a 7-12 Principal endorsement.
• Experience:
  Proven experience in an administrative or leadership role, with preference given to candidates with demonstrated success in school leadership or educational administration. Experience at the middle school level is highly desirable.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Strong instructional leadership and experience in curriculum development.
• Ability to foster a positive, collaborative school culture.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse community of stakeholders.
• Analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Experience in fiscal management and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into the learning environment.
